Paisajes en movimiento. El uso del espacio durante los períodos de Desarrollos Regionales e Inca en el Valle Calchaquí Medio (Salta, Argentina)

A partir de la práctica diaria de habitar, los grupos humanos constituyen el paisaje como un registro perdurable (Ingold 1993). En el sector medio del Valle Calchaquí hemos hallado diferencias y continuidades en la concepción y construcción del paisaje a partir de los restos materiales adscribibles a los períodos de Desarrollos Regionales (1000-1450) e Inca (1450-1532). El foco productivo y poblacional del área parece haber estado ubicado en el interior de las quebradas occidentales al valle principal. Estas estrechas y fértiles quebradas forman pasos naturales en el ambiente puneño, constituyendo uno de los elementos claves en la estructuración del paisaje del área para ambos períodos.By the act of dwelling, human beings create their landscapes as a long lasting record (Ingold 1993). We have registered differences and continuities in the conception and construction of landscape in the mid Calchaquí valley during Desarrollos Regionales (1000-1450) and Inca periods (1450-1532). Both productive and demographic focus were located mainly in the western quebradas tributary to the main valley. This narrow and fertile valleys form natural passes to puna environment, and are one of the key elements in landscape structure during both periods

Una propuesta para jóvenes de 15-19 años sobre cómo vivir una verdadera libertad sexual en el siglo XXI

Por esta razón requiere de atención, ya que una comprensión errónea puede alejar al hombre de la esencia de su propio ser. Esta temática ha sido para mí un aspecto muy llamativo de estudio ya que un manejo erróneo de la sexualidad puede causar heridas muy profundas en las personas. Al realizar talleres y conferencias en instituciones educativas pude ver la importancia de llevar un mensaje de esperanza a los jóvenes y vi la necesidad de brindarles herramientas para poder ir en contra de las propuestas de sexualidad que ven a sus alrededores. Aprovechando los conocimientos obtenidos en la maestría, quise aprovechar para sustentar con argumentos sólidos las razones por las cuales una sexualidad bien vivida vale la pena. Por lo tanto, este trabajo busca ofrecer una postura alterna para los jóvenes entre los 15 y los 19 años con respecto a la sexualidad, dándoles herramientas para poder vivirla con el significado que le es propio, y así, defender su verdadero valor frente a otros jóvenes. Se busca formar a las nuevas generaciones impulsándolas a vivir una verdadera libertad sexual. Creación de una micro empresa que ofrece servicios de ejercicio de entrenamiento personalizado a domicilio en la ciudad de Bogotá

Este proyecto surgió del interés de la autora por favorecer la actividad física en el hogar para aquellas personas que no pueden o no tienen gran interés en desplazarse hacia gimnasios o centros deportivos, bien sea porque sus obligaciones no se lo permiten porque no cuentan con el tiempo suficiente para desplazarse o porque prefieren tener actividad física individual y contar para ello con un asesor personal. Por esta razón la propuesta de negocio se realizó para brindar servicio de entrenamiento personalizado a domicilio ajustándose a las necesidades u objetivos a nivel individual de las personas. Se buscó principalmente ofrecer servicios que buscarán el bienestar del cliente. La autora de este proyecto realizó una prueba de mercado a comienzo de 2015 en la cual participaron 4 Clientes que fueron asesorados personalmente por un profesional de educación física con el apoyo de una fisioterapeuta y un nutricionista. Esta actividad continúa en la actualidad con nuevos Clientes. Al ya estar registrada la empresa en Cámara de Comercio, a los Clientes se les está realizando su respectiva facturación (ver modelo de factura en el Anexo 1) cumpliendo la normatividad vigente. La actividad física es uno de los pilares importantes para mantener una vida saludable y evitar la aparición de enfermedades. Hoy en día. el ejercicio ha pasado de ser una práctica deseable a convertirse en una necesidad que permite aumentar la autoestima, la condición física, el rendimiento laboral, las relaciones interpersonales y la integración social, además de mejorar el bienestar de las personas y proporcionar una mejor calidad de vida (Córdoba. Cabezas. Camallares. Gómez. Díaz. López. Marqués. Muñoz. Navarro. Ramírez. 2012). El mercado objetivo de este proyecto está conformado por hombres y mujeres mayores de 30 años, de los estratos 4, 5 y 6 interesados en tener una buena condición física, cuidar su figura y/o reducir de peso, pero que por sus ocupaciones no cuentan con el tiempo suficiente para asistir a un gimnasio. A lo largo de todo el documento se evidencian las variables, hipótesis, antecedentes, estudios cuantitativos y cualitativos que se emplearon para construir un plan de negocios como base teórica para la empresa. Se realizó un análisis financiero donde se mostraron los indicadores como TIR y VPN para evaluar la viabilidad del mismo en términos financieros. A Spanish text corpus for the author profiling task

Author Profiling is the task of predicting characteristics of the author of a text, such as age, gender, personality, native language, etc. This is a task of growing importance due to its potential applications in security, crime and marketing, among others. One of the main difficulties in this field is the lack of reliable text collections (corpora) to train and test automatically derived classifiers, in particular in specific languages such as Spanish. Although some recent data sets were generated for the PAN competitions, these documents have a lot of “noise” that prevent researchers from obtaining more general conclusions about this task when more formal documents are used. In this context, this work proposes and describes SpanText, a data collection of formal texts in Spanish language which is, as far as we know, the first collection with these characteristics for the author profiling task. Cost analysis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): a systematic review

Background Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a treatable disease with a high prevalence, and high morbidity associated with significant socioeconomic costs. Objective To carry out a systematic review of the literature to analyze the main cost studies associated with COPD, in order to determine the main factors that influence the costs of the disease. Methods Searches were conducted in PubMed, SCOPUS and Web of Science databases for cost studies on COPD published in English, between the years 2015 and 2020. The search terms were ?COPD? OR ?pulmonary disease, chronic obstructive?, ?cost*? OR ?cost of illness?, ?economic impact? AND ?burden of disease?. The inclusion criteria included the identification of reported cost of the disease, economic burden, medical care expenses or use resources for COPD, the methodology used, data sources, and variables studied. Results 18 publications were analyzed: 17 included direct health costs, 6 included direct non-medical costs, 12 analyzed indirect costs and two reported intangible costs. Most of the studies reported data for developed and European countries, with direct costs being the most studied. Trends were observed in multiple studies of direct and healthcare costs for European countries measured by patient and year, where the higher costs were associated with more severe COPD and a frequent history of exacerbations. The highest costs reported corresponded to hospitalizations and the associated pharmacological treatment. The importance of the loss of productivity and premature retirement within the profile of the COPD patient was also highlighted as the main generator of indirect costs of the disease. Conclusion COPD generates substantial costs for the health system, mainly related to moderate to severe stages and the exacerbations and complications entailed. It is important to strengthen health systems with monitoring, evaluation and health education models that allow these patients to remain stable to avoid decompensation and subsequent hospitalizations

The increasing use of social media allows the extraction of valuable information to early prevent some risks. Such is the case of the use of blogs to early detect people with signs of depression. In order to address this problem, we describe k-temporal variation of terms (k-TVT), a method which uses the variation of vocabulary along the different time steps as concept space to represent the documents. An interesting particularity of this approach is the possibility of setting a parameter (the k value) depending on the urgency (earliness) level required to detect the risky (depressed) cases. Results on the early detection of depression data set from eRisk 2017 seem to confirm the robustness of k-TVT for different urgency levels using SVM as classifier. “Era la tierra doblada con que se peleó arriesgadamente…”: Paisajes de guerra y resistencia indígena en Gualfín hacia mediados del siglo XVII (Valle Calchaquí, Gobernación del Tucumán)

Colonial narratives in the mid-17th century about the Calchaquí valley reveal a scenario of conflict. By October 1659, a group of soldiers led by Mercado and Villacorta entered Gualfín territory, resulting in one of the harshest occupations in the valley. In this paper, we compare the information about geography and landscapes contained in the written sources about the entry of the Spanish army and the information produced by archaeological investigations in the area. This dialogue leads to the configuration of a landscape and geography in a war conflict context, allowing us to recover the agency of the Gualfines and to strengthen the fragility of the established alliances. We also suggest a possible foreign origin for the Gualfines, as well as a wide territoriality where valley bottom and highlands were included, and that was articulated through seasonal practices and networks involving other indigenous spaces and collectives.Los relatos coloniales sobre el valle Calchaquí a mediados del siglo XVII dan cuenta de un escenario de conflicto. Para octubre de 1659, un grupo de solados al mando de Mercado y Villacorta ingresa a territorio Gualfín dando lugar a uno de los avances más duros en el valle. En este trabajo ponemos en diálogo los relatos sobre la geografía y los paisajes referidos en las fuentes escritas a partir del derrotero que sigue el ejército español hacia estas tierras y la información producida por investigaciones arqueológicas en la zona. Dicho cruce lleva a configurar un paisaje y una geografía en guerra, dejando recuperar la capacidad de agencia de las poblaciones gualfines y la fragilidad de las alianzas establecidas. Se sugiere también un posible origen foráneo de los gualfines, así como una amplia territorialidad que incluía fondo de valle y tierras altas, articulada a partir de prácticas estacionales y redes que involucraban otros espacios y colectivos indígenas

Criptomonedas como alternativa a los envíos de remesas internacionales y envíos de dinero transfronterizo en Colombia.

El presente trabajo tuvo como principal propósito explorar las nuevas tecnologías enfocadas hacia las criptomonedas como una alternativa de uso a los sistemas tradicionales de envío de remesas. La investigación se enfocó en el intercambio de dinero, desde y hacia Colombia debido a que, como sistema convencional, presenta ciertas falencias tales como: altas comisiones, tasas por encima del mercado, falta de transparencia y demora a la hora de enviar dinero internacional, lo que lo convierte en un sistema poco eficiente con posibilidades de mejora. A partir de esta investigación se desarrolló una propuesta tecnológica que permitirá enviar dinero transfronterizo mediante el uso de las criptomonedas. Estas brindan soluciones a las falencias mencionadas convirtiendo estos envíos en un proceso mucho más eficiente y enfocado hacia las necesidades de los usuarios y de las personas en general. El desarrollo de esta investigación estuvo dividido en tres etapas. La primera, en el entendimiento profundo del sistema de envíos de dinero internacional actual, especialmente en Colombia. Seguido de la comprensión del uso de las criptomonedas en el país y las necesidades de los usuarios de las remesas.
